Veru (Virender Sehwag) was playing with class and power on the other end. How can he remain quite, he also scored 131 off just 122 balls. Again Murlitharan was the man who took the wicket of Sehwag, India was 370-2.

Here comes two great players of Test Cricket, the little master Sachin and Rahul Dravid and they are still on the crease. Rahul is playing on 85 and Sachin is playing on 20. At the end of the day the India reached to a total of 417 with the loss of 2 wickets.

At the end of the first day, Srilankan would definitely have disturbed sleep as both the batsmen are looking very good nick and Srilankan Bowlers have to work really hard to get them out.
