LAHORE: Federal Minister for Water and Power Raja Pervez Ashraf dismissing the statement issued from Sindh Home Minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza, has said his statement is not the party policy of PPP.

He said Dr. Zulfiqar’s statement reflects his personal opinion not the collective viewpoint of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that the government is following the national reconciliation policy of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto for strengthening the democracy and safeguarding the people’s rights.

“Pakistan People’s Party will fulfill the mission of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto which she started during her lifetime for strengthening of democratic institutions in the country and welfare of the masses”, he told this agency here Saturday.

“She has a strong desire to transform Pakistan into real democratic and developed country in the comity of nations. The PPP will materialize her cherish dream”, he reiterated.

The minister said that Shaheed BB always remained in contact with all the party workers and responded to guide them while she was in exile.
