During what has become a prestigious gig for A-list rockers and pop stars, at least the band members kept their shirts on – unlike Janet Jackson during the infamous “nipplegate” incident in 2004.
The only two surviving members of the original quartet, 65-year-old singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist 64-year-old Pete Townshend, performed parts of five of their most recognizable tunes on a circular stage surrounded by an impressive light and pyrotechnic show.
The 12-minute set at Sun Life Stadium included parts of “Pinball Wizard,” “Baba O’Riley,” “Who Are You?,” “See Me, Feel Me” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again.”
