Karachi to be spared from power crisis this year: Ashraf

KARACHI: Failing to fulfill all his previous pledges, Water and Power Raja Pervaiz Ashraf again assured that there would be no power crisis in the country’s financial capital this year.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah hosted a reception in the honor of Federal Minister Ashraf, says a statement released from the CM House today.

The reception was also attended by provincial ministers Murad Ali Shah, Dr Zufiqar Ali Mirza, Agha Siraj Durrani, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah and others.

The political leaders exchanged views about several issues, including water, IRSA and Thar Coal Power Project.

On this occasion, Water and Power Minister reassured that the people of Karachi would be spared from the frequent power cuts this year.
