Fusari says he was kicked to the curb and pushed out of the pop star’s lucrative career after co-writing some of her songs, coming up with her stage name and helping her get a record deal. The producer said Gaga is his protégé and former girlfriend, and she ditched him as her career took off, reports MTV.com.

Fusari teamed up with the singer back in March 2006 and said he convinced her to trade in her rock music for dance beats. He had already worked with heavyweights like Will Smith on “Wild, Wild West” and Destiny Child’s “Bootylicious.”
