VIDEO: Underwear Bomber Doing Weapons Training In Yemen

ABC World News with Diane Sawyer broadcasted new footage Monday night of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, the suspected underwear bomber who was arrested on Christmas Day after allegedly trying to blow up a Northwest flight, doing weapons training in Yemen with militants.

The videos were produced by Al Qaeda in Yemen, according to ABC. The network obtained them from a Yemeni journalist who works for the network.

In the videos, ABC says, Abdulmutallab also issues a martyrdom statement in Arabic, whereby he justifies his actions “”the Jews and the Christians and their agents.”
