Latest Update Volkswagen Vento:As the news of German carmaker Volkswagen launching its new elite class car, ‘Volkswagen Vento to India’ hit the headlines it brought excitement in all the car lovers. The new offering of Volkswagen India, ‘Vento’ is built in Chakkan in Pune, Maharashtra. It was launched on 6 July 2010.

It is scheduled to hit the Indian roads in October 2010. Vento is targeted to conquer the hearts and mind of all those who like fast cars. If experts verdict is to be believed, it will leave cars like, Honda City far behind in the race of luxury and power.

The looks are striking, elegant and fresh. The price of it is expected to be between 7 to 10 Lakhs. It will come with 1.6-litre petrol engine and 105 bhp while same specification is expected for its diesel model.
