Latest Update News Veena Malik: Veena Malik (born Zahida Malik on 26 February 1978) is a Pakistani actress, model and comedian. She has established herself as one of the leading women in the Pakistani television and film industry with her abilities to mimic others and improvise.

Malik has also worked as a representative at the World Health Organisation for two years and sponsors a child at the SOS Children’s Village, an NGO based in Pakistan working with orphaned children.

Malik was born on 26 February 1978 in Lahore, to Ali Malik, a Pakistan Army soldier, and his wife, Zeenat Malik.

The family settled in Rawalpindi after her birth. Her grandmother named her Zahida, but her family insisted on keeping Veena as her first name.

Her father often remained away from home, so she was brought up by her grandmother and mother until she was in her late teens when her grandmother died.

Malik grew up expressing an interest in joining the film industry and her grandmother decided to encourage her.

Latest Update News Girls Top Matric Result In Punjab: All the Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) in Punjab have announced the matriculation result today.

The Board of Secondary Education, Lahore announced its results for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part-II (Class X) science exams 2010 in which 60.79 per cent of students passed.

In Lahore board, Rumela Ijaz of DPS Model Town School came first with 1019 marks out of a total of 1150.

Sameern Tahir of Punjab School Township secured second position with 1018 marks and Attiqueur Rehman of the Sadique Memorial School, was third with 1014 marks.

According to the results, 208,532 candidates appeared in the exam of which 126,753 managed to clear the annual examination. About 60.79 per cent of the candidates who sat for the exams passed.

According to details from Gujranwala board Hurra Jamil grabbed the first position with 1017 marks out of a total of 1150. Linta Ijaz came second with 1015 marks. Qurat-ul-Ain and Kinza Yousaf jointly secured third position with 1014 marks.

According to details from Faisalabad board Saeed-ur-Rehman secured the first position with 1011 marks out of a total of 1150.

Muhammad Moeed came second with 1009 marks. Waris Khan came third with 1005 marks. According to the results, 124,242 candidates appeared in the exam of which 80,017 managed to clear the annual examination.

About 64.40 per cent of the candidates who sat for the exams passed.
According to details from Bahawalpur board Farwa Liaqat grabbed the first position with 1018 marks out of a total of 1150.

Abdur Rehman Javed came second with 1013 marks. Muhammad Abubakar secured third position with 1012 marks.

According to the results, 63,659 candidates appeared in the exam of which 40,376 managed to clear the annual examination. About 63.43 per cent of the candidates who sat for the exams passed.

According to details from Rawalpindi board Javaid Hussain grabbed the first position with 1016 marks out of a total of 1150. Mehar Khan came second with 1015 marks. Muneeb-ur-Rehman Abbasi secured third position with 1010 marks.

According to details from Sargodha board Muhammad Arsalan grabbed the first position with 1019 marks out of a total of 1150. Khurram Shahzahd came second with 1018 marks. Muneeb-ur-Rehman Abbasi secured third position with 1012 marks.

According to the results, 64,538 candidates appeared in the exam of which 41,488 managed to clear the annual examination. About 64.28 per cent of the candidates who sat for the exams passed.

It is pertinent to mention that girls have traditionally done better than boys in the humanities group as well.

Latest Update Newsa Plane Crash In Islamabad ‘Kills More Than 150′: A passenger plane has crashed in Islamabad, killing more than 150 people on board and six crew members.

The Airbus A330 crashed near Islamabad airport after a flight from Karachi. The plane was on its way from Turkey to Islamabad via Karachi.

The plane bound for Islamabad took off from Karachi at 7:45 AM and crashed at 9:45 AM.

The relief teams have rushed to Margalla hills. The airplane lost contact with the control tower of Islamabad airport just before the crash.

It is worth mentioning that lack of visibility due to rainy weather might have caused the incident.

An emergency has been imposed in all hospitals of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed grief over this tragic incident.
